The Center for Enabling New Technologies through Catalysis (CENTC) is the first NSF-funded Center for Chemical Innovation and is using catalysis to approach some of the most pressing problems of our times. Undergraduates majoring in the chemical sciences are invited to apply to conduct research within the center during the summer of 2009. Choose from 16 research groups in 12 locations throughout the US and Canada. Selected applicants will receive a competitive stipend and compensation for travel and housing. The program is 8-10 weeks depending on location and dates are flexible. The goal of the program is to introduce promising undergraduates to the excitement of doing important and collaborative research, engaging research personnel from research groups around the country.
