We are now accepting application for the 2013 Summer Program.

Benefits of the spring SULI program include: 

·         10 weeks (June 3-August 9) engaged in a research project under the direction of a laboratory scientist or engineer

·         career development workshops

·         laboratory tours

·         stipend of $500 per week

·         travel reimbursement (for those who qualify)

·         housing allowance (for those who qualify)

The University of Oregon and the National Science Foundation sponsor a 10 week summer undergraduate research program for Physics and Chemistry Majors to participate in a wide variety of exciting research projects. Students work closely with faculty advisers, graduate students and other research undergraduates for a unique summer experience. Room and board and all travel expenses are paid in addition to a $5,000 stipend.
